Creamfields
Creamfields, an electronic dance music festival based in the UK, is one of the world’s biggest and best known. Since 1998, it’s become an annual event that draws tens of thousands of fans annually.
Creamfields South has become a stalwart of the dance music scene, boasting some of the top DJs in the business. Additionally, it offers an expansive camping area for festival goers from across the UK to enjoy. This year’s inaugural Creamfields South was held in Chelmsford this past weekend to huge attendance from festival goers from everywhere.
Prices start from PS51 for a standard ticket, with more expensive options available if you want to be part of the action. A standard ticket grants access to both the festival’s campsite and event arena – an ideal spot to soak in some EDM beats while hanging out with friends.
Lucid Creates, a Kent-based design and fabrication studio, has designed an expansive 20,000 capacity stage for Creamfields North in Daresbury, Cheshire over the August Bank Holiday. Joining their existing Arc and Steel Yard stages, this is sure to be one of the biggest attractions at this year’s festival!
Another new addition to the festival is ‘Runway’ stage, situated at the main site. This multi-tiered venue will provide an ‘360 immersive experience’.
Festivals are moving away from the traditional one-stage shows that were popular in years past, in favor of multiple stages that are more user friendly and provide a more personalised experience. Furthermore, there is now an array of festival packages with more flexibility that include camping.
This year’s event was an enormous success, boasting a record turnout that included artists such as Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers and Tiesto. It served as an excellent chance for attendees to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones.
Mysteryland
Mysteryland is one of the premier electronic dance music festivals in Europe, having opened its gates in 1993 and featuring various stages and artists across different electronic genres like EDM, house, techno and hardstyle. With over 25 years of experience under its belt, Mysteryland continues to attract thousands each year.
Mysteryland festival takes place in an expansive event space near Amsterdam and has been around since 1993 – becoming a landmark of Europe’s electronic dance music scene.
Mysteryland boasts more than 300 musicians and performers spread out across 22 stages, offering a diverse selection of music styles and genres. The lineup includes both emerging artists as well as main stage headliners.
In addition to an impressive line-up, the festival also provides guests with a range of activities they can enjoy. These include hidden chillout areas, art installations and food courts. A Healing Garden also provides treatments for spiritual seekers such as chi gong and cacao ceremonies.
Mysteryland is also one of the world’s most sustainable festivals, powered by locally generated green energy.
One unique aspect of this festival is that it’s cashless. ID&T, the organizer, has collaborated with Intellitix – the world’s leading RFID access control and cashless payment provider.

The festival offers a selection of accommodations for guests, such as glamping, pre-set up tents, camper spots and VIP tents. However, these options can be pricey; a Premium tent costs anywhere from $500-849.
Desert Daze
Desert Daze is an annual festival held in Lake Perris, California that draws thousands of festival goers with its unique atmosphere and excellent onsite facilities.
The festival offers a diverse selection of music genres, such as jazz, rock and psychedelic rock. It’s a family-friendly event that welcomes guests of all ages; it also serves as an ideal destination for those looking to unwind and recharge their batteries.
Desert Daze not only features musical performances, but it also hosts art installations and advocacy activations. Plus, guests can choose from an array of food and drink options like wine, craft beer, artisan cheeses and cocktails.
This year’s festival took place from September 30 – October 2, 2022 and featured headliners such as King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Tame Impala, and Beach House.
On its 10-year anniversary, the event featured a more expansive layout with four stages and featured immersive art installations as well as advocacy activations.
Desert Daze has joined forces with Global Inheritance to promote sustainable agriculture. Additionally, it launched an insect-based protein campaign entitled “Meat the Beetles,” created in collaboration with Brooklyn Bugs Founder Joseph Yoon.

III Points
III Points is one of Miami’s premier music festivals, known for showcasing some of the top electronic acts worldwide. Situated in Wynwood, this year-round event specializes in techno and house music but also features sets from other genres.
III Points has been around for nine years and continues to attract major headliners each year. This year’s festival will showcase an eclectic range of dance artists and DJs from around the world.
David Sinopoli and Erica Freshman founded III Points as a platform to showcase Miami’s musical talent while creating something more than just an energetic atmosphere. Through this micro-festival, they aim to foster critical thought and foster meaningful connections.
In 2016, III Points boasted an impressive lineup that included LCD Soundsystem, Porter Robinson, James Blake, Rosalia and Freddie Gibbs. For their 2017 edition they will be joined by Black Coffee, Chris Lake, Fisher Flume Joji and more acclaimed artists.

Electric Zoo, a three-day festival held each year in Randall’s Island Park, deserves special mention for its vibrant light shows, stage design and fireworks displays.
Electric Zoo
Electric Zoo, one of the world’s best-known electronic music festivals, has a reputation for curating an unforgettable lineup with some of music’s biggest names. Every Labor Day weekend, Randall’s Island Park transforms into an unmissable musical mecca for three days.
For over 12 years, this festival has been a mainstay of NYC’s dance music scene. Its lineup boasts renowned names like Carl Cox, DJ Snake, Diplo, Martin Garrix and Armin Van Buuren, among many others.

The Electric Zoo Festival is a 3-day celebration of electronic music that takes place annually over Labor Day weekend at Randall’s Island Park in Seattle. Since its inception, the event has grown rapidly in popularity – now boasting over 100,000 attendees annually.
