City Steps Stage

Every March, the San Diego EDM festival takes over Waterfront Park for an unparalleled party atmosphere. Featuring three stages – Ocean View, Palms and City Steps – with various acts across each location, this event is ideal for those seeking to experience the latest dance music.
City Steps stage hosted some of the world’s heaviest dubstep and techno artists. Notable performers included Deborah De Luca, Maya Jane Coles, Umek and Anifsa Letyago.
This stage featured an abundance of strobes and lights that created a warehouse-like atmosphere. While these fixtures were simple yet clean, they added to the production without distracting from the music.
At City Steps, we witnessed rising techno producer Juheun deliver ground-breaking sets. His energetic performances ensured that everyone had an unforgettable night.
On the City Steps stage, notable artists included AMEME and Bedouin. Renowned for their energetic house music sounds and uptempo songs, these acts played sets throughout the festival to keep attendees on the edge of their seats.
City Steps stage was also graced with Space 92 x Popof’s energetic set, offering a fresh take on underground dance music. This performance was ideal for capturing the day as the crowd went wild in celebration.
On the City Steps stage, Lane 8 had an enthralling crowd. Everyone seemed engaged with their performance and kept dancing throughout it.

Palms Stage

The Palms Stage is the destination for house music fans to experience groovy beats. It offers a relaxed atmosphere and allows some of the world’s most sought-after artists to perform live sets.
This stage is located on the waterfront of downtown San Diego and offers attendees a breathtaking view of the water. Fans can enjoy this picturesque scene while dancing to their favourite daily acts. Plus, there are several bars where you can grab a drink and dance to your heart’s content.
Over the weekend, The Palms Stage showcased some of the biggest names in house and techno music. Headlining sets included Middle Eastern DJ/production duo Bedouin, French synth-wave artist Kavinsky, Detroit house/techno legend Seth Troxler and UK staple Eats Everything.
In addition to featuring some of the top artists in house and techno music, The Palms stage boasted some of the finest sound and lighting for an unforgettable experience. Navigating was easy as all walkways were lined up in one continuous line, making it simple to move around and find your favourite artists.
For those seeking more complex sounds, City Steps stage offers an eclectic selection of hardstyle and trance music. Additionally, The Palms stage hosts some renowned and up-and-coming techno artists, such as KUU and Duck Sauce, who deliver unique performances on the festival circuit.
CRSSD festival 2018 featured some of the biggest names in electronic music and was an enormous success! It provides something for everyone with diverse tastes and musical preferences, providing three stages for attendees to enjoy.
On the Ocean View stage at CRSSD this spring, fans can experience some of the most renowned and innovative live performers in crossover electronic music – including Grammy-nominated ODESZA as the headlining act alongside French production duo Polo & Pan. ODESZA’s sister act ODEZSA will give a live set along with British singer-songwriter Becky Hill and Compton DJ/beatsmith Channel Tres.

Ocean View Stage

At the San Diego Electronic Dance Music festival, The Ocean View Stage welcomes live performances by legendary headliners like ODESZA, Lane 8, Polo & Pan, and Becky Hill. Additionally, this year the stage features an array of exciting up-and-coming talent sure to wow audiences.

After an exciting weekend of dancing, the Ocean View Stage concluded with an incredible performance by ODESZA. This Grammy-nominated duo was a popular choice of festivalgoers, and their performance was breathtaking.
Their set had everything their fans love about them: an eclectic blend of electronic music and surreal visuals. It was an enthralling experience that left me eager to catch them again.
Polo & Pan, a French production duo, performed at Ocean View Stage. Their music is renowned for its funk, disco and house music blend.
They had the crowd on its feet throughout their set, leaving everyone amazed by their performances. Their sounds are endlessly versatile, and being able to incorporate backup dancers makes for truly captivating shows.

FNGRS Stage

At the San Diego Electronic Dance Music festival (EDM Festival), The FNGRS Stage features top-tier house and techno artists. This bi-annual event has earned a reputation for its impressive lineups and international talent. It has become one of the premier house/techno festivals in San Diego and across North America as one of the premier gatherings.
At FNGRS Stage in Chicago, fans can experience a festival-like setting with lasers, strobes, well-placed LED screens, and artistic physical rigs synchronized to the rhythmic bass and kicks of music. These sets are ideal for house or techno fans and complement the impressive lineup perfectly.
Although not branded a rave, its production team creates a respectful and stylish environment. This is especially beneficial since many other festivals tend to cater more towards younger crowds, which can often lead to uncomfortable or intimidating experiences.
Attending this event always brings with it some spectacular DJs! This year’s lineup included Flume, Bob Moses, Flight Facilities, Duke Dumont, Aluna George and Rufus Du Sol, to name a few!

CRSSD Weekend offers two full days and nights of music, making for a genuinely perfect getaway. The weather is near ideal, with sunny and mild days and nights that are crisp but not too cold – making this the perfect time of year to go out and experience some tremendous sonic experiences.
CRSSD offers incredible DJs and music, but there is plenty more to do! Enjoy a picnic or shop at downtown San Diego shops while playing games or exploring art installations.
