Porter Robinson had been on the cusp of becoming one of electronic music’s acclaimed stars for some time. A young producer with an exciting future, his popularity skyrocketed when he released his debut full-length album, Worlds, in 2014.
But as his career progressed, he grew disenchanted with the genre and started to venture away from it. His music eventually transformed into more experimental futuristic electropop, allowing him to take it beyond just dancing on a dance floor and focus on storytelling instead.
With his sophomore solo album, Nurture, set for release in 2021, Robinson further explored the boundaries of his genre by crafting lushly textured tracks that evoke emotional epics from anime and vast digital landscapes found in video games. Its stand-out singles “Get Your Wish” and “Something Comforting” reached number one on Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs Chart.
Robinson’s success propelled him to the fore of electronic dance music (EDM), leading him on an international tour and headlining some of the biggest festivals. He acquired a passionate following and established a charity to benefit cancer patients in Malawi.
Robinson enjoyed a storied career as an EDM icon, featuring collaborations with some of the industry’s biggest names like Cashmere Cat and Skrillex. Yet he always remembered his core fans and remained dedicated to providing them with top-notch music and entertainment.

At Second Sky, each stage – Fire, Earth, Air and Water – is inspired by key elements in nature. Fire offers a surreal landscape filled with neon trees and galactic mushrooms; Air and Water serve as temples of melody hidden deep within forests or sunny playgrounds, respectively.
Nassal, the Orlando-based company behind such projects as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios locations around the globe and Super Nintendo World in development designed Second Sky to be an immersive event that celebrates its performers’ creativity and ambition.
