The Lineup

EDM festival Orlando, run by Insomniac Events, is one of Florida’s most sought-after music events. Hosted at Tinker Field outside Camping World Stadium over two days, this two-day affair features artists from bass music, house, trance and techno genres.

This year’s lineup featured many familiar names like Diplo and Skrillex, as well as several new acts making their EDM debuts. This marked a dramatic improvement from last year when EDC Orlando only ran two days and two stages at Tinker Field.

It was a risk, but it paid off. While it may not have quite reached the same heights as EDC Las Vegas, it can be proud of its progress and now serves as an iconic destination festival with a lineup, production quality and experiences comparable to those found at major EDM events.

This year’s EDM festival Orlando featured an incredible lineup and stunning production. With some of the biggest names in electronic dance music taking the main stage, it was no wonder why this event has become one of the premier EDM festivals worldwide.

This EDM festival in Florida stands out with its more elaborate theme. It boasts art pieces, carnival rides and performers for an enjoyable weekend in Orlando.

Insomniac Events has been organizing festivals for 25 years, and they know how to throw an unforgettable party. Every day they wow their attendees with stunning visuals, lights and animations.

They boasted an impressive roster of artists that played a variety of styles, from deep techno to trance. It was an exhilarating mix of established and up-and-coming talents that added even more uniqueness than before.

As an added benefit, several stages were designed to spotlight specific styles of music. This made the festival feel more cohesive as each had its own distinct sound and visual identity.

With a more focused approach, kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, stereoBLOOM and the art cars were able to shape the festival’s ambience without needing to expand too much. This is something important for festivals to do; EDC Orlando successfully made this happen.

The Weather

Temperatures during the day should range from 80-88 degrees Fahrenheit, while nighttime temperatures tend to be cooler. Be aware of a chance for rain during the festival, so be sure to check the weather forecast and bring along a sweatshirt or jacket just in case.

Although weather at festivals is unpredictable, it’s wise to pack for rainy conditions – especially if you’re coming from colder climates. A lightweight raincoat will help keep you dry and prevent the chill.

The most essential piece of advice when dancing in the rain is to wear sturdy waterproof shoes. Not only can it be fun, but it can be dangerous if you aren’t prepared.

It’s wise to bring an anti-theft bag just in case, since the festival attracts all types of people. Be mindful when walking around the grounds and download some apps to track your location. Even if the weather isn’t ideal, there will still be plenty of activities for you to enjoy while out and about.
