Boasting an impressive community, an extensive lineup of quality artists, and top-of-the-line production values, it has become a beloved gathering that continues to draw attendees from around the globe.

The event has a mature atmosphere that prevents crowds from being too rough on one another and maintains personal space even at the front of the stages. This respect and awareness among tracers allow people to make new friends and have an enjoyable time.

On Day One of the Dream State Rave, an impressive lineup of emerging and established trance talents was displayed. From Audien to Sneijder and Vini Vici, the main stage featured an array of captivating sets that drew in many attendees from the audience.

Artists provided attendees with an unforgettable blend of progressive and classic trance music on Saturday and Sunday. It was indeed an experience to remember for dancers everywhere – a must-see!

After an unforgettable first year, the Park N Rave series will return to Dreamstate on May 1st with an impressive lineup. Headliners, including FSOE founders Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, and Kristina Sky, are set to make this another unforgettable weekend for all members of the trance family.

Abraxis will return to Dreamstate this year after debuting their side project at last year’s event. Made up of melodic bass producer Seven Lions and psytrance duo Dimibo, Abraxis promises some heavy psytrance for this year’s Dream stage.

Insomniac will host its inaugural after-party at Dreamstate from 2 AM to 6 AM on Friday and Saturday. Usually, after-parties at the NOS Events Center occur in nearby clubs or the Orange Pavilion building later in the week; however, this marks the first time they will host one within the event itself!

Day 2

After a sold-out first edition, the dream state rave returns at NOS Events Center for two full days of ethereal beats and timeless melodies. Powered by Insomniac, the event brings some of the world’s best trance music artists to Southern California for an immersive weekend that promises attendees an elevated state of consciousness through its stellar lineup and immersive stages.

On Friday, November 22nd, and Saturday, November 23rd, the fifth edition of Trance Music Festival returns with an all-new art installation, larger stage designs, and an impressive lineup of top trance music producers worldwide.

Dreamstate SoCal, North America’s premier trance music festival, provides an enthralling experience that captures both the genre and its enthusiastic community. The uplifted vibes and captivating music draw in an eclectic crowd that makes this event truly special.

Last year’s festival edition offered diverse experiences on all three stages, from psytrance and classic trance to hard trance and progressive sounds. Headliners Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, and Paul van Dyk performed sets on the mainstage throughout the weekend.

In addition to mainstage mavens, The Dream featured an array of trance explorers from their home countries who made the trip down to Southern California. For those seeking deeper explorations on the spectrum, head over to The Sequence, where Blastoyz and Vini Vici provided some psychedelic beats; those searching for progressive music should check out The Void with David Forbes and Renegade System.

Another notable highlight was Abraxis, the side project featuring melodic bass producer Seven Lions and Dimibo’s psytrance abilities. This will be their first time performing together, so fans should expect an exciting set from these two trance connoisseurs.

GRAMMY-nominated artist Audien is set to return to Dreamstate SoCal this year for what promises to be an energetic and enjoyable set. Although the American DJ/producer has made several appearances at trance events in the past, this will be your rare chance to catch him live.

This November, the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino will transform into a magical realm with many trance favorites. Enjoy classic trance, psytrance, and other variations of this timeless genre.

Trance family members have been eagerly awaiting news of the festival, but now the wait is over. Insomniac has announced a series of drive-in concerts called Chula Vista Drive-In Concert Series that will bring some of the hottest acts to town – with the first concert taking place this Friday, December 11th.

Along with Cosmic Gate, Gabriel & Dresden, Infected Mushroom, and Markus Schulz, other acts will be enjoyed throughout the weekend. Furthermore, the Insomniac team has announced that trance fans can join a late-night party at the Orange Pavilion building after the event.

Unfortunately, only some event details have been finalized; however, it’s expected to start at 2 AM and last all night – a departure from previous Insomniac Festival after-parties that typically occur nearby clubs or later in the week.

Day 4

Day four of the Dream State rave was filled with positive energy, mystifying stages, and captivating music. A sea of trance fans celebrated this genre – making for an overall unforgettable weekend.

The festival featured multiple stages, including The Dream (main stage), Timeless, and The Void. The primarily latter played hard trance and psytrance music, while The Dream featured a more progressive lineup of artists.

At this year’s Armin van Buuren Festival, we were treated to some of the world’s top DJs, such as Armin van Buuren, Astrix, Vini Vici, Captain Hook, David Forbes, and Giuseppe Ottaviani. Additionally, production at such a small event proved excellent.

In addition to the main stage, we enjoyed some smaller intimate areas to listen to artists. These spots were near a pond and illuminated by LED lights from trees surrounding it – it made for an idyllic respite from all the dancing on the floor. It truly felt like paradise!

Trance music’s biggest names, including Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten, attended Dreamstate SoCal. Both artists demonstrated their progress within the genre, with Ferry opting for progressive tracks and melodic techno while Paul explored deeper sounds within trance music.

The Abraxis Institute, a melodic bass producer and psytrance duo will make an impromptu appearance at Dreamstate SoCal. Their set will feature their trademark sound, which you only hear sometimes.

Another unique set was that of GRAMMY-nominated artist Audien, who has only appeared at a handful of trance events throughout his career. This year he released the remix to his hit singles ‘Crazy Love’ and ‘Something Better’ featuring Lady Antebellum, so that you can expect an energetic and fun set from him!

Infected Mushroom, the energetic psytrance act that’s been making headlines lately, will perform a live set at the festival. Their lasers and giant animatronic mushrooms create an unforgettable experience that will leave you wanting more.
